Moving to WordPress.com

Sorry guys.. I'm moving to WordPress.com. Blogger just wasn't "doing it" for me, particularly when it came to posting pictures and using Windows Live Writer. So, from now on, find me here. As an added bonus/incentive, my brother has also moved from his old xanga blog over to WordPress.com, and we'll be sharing the same blog. That's two-for-one.. not bad!

Family

There are just so many Uncles, Aunties, etc. sometimes I can't really keep track. Who's who and who's really related to me?

Here are Uncle Jeff and Auntie Joyce. They have two boys, just like my Mama and Dada. Does that mean they're my cousins?

Here's my Lao Lao. She's the only one of her kind that I've met so far. That must mean she's someone very special. We have a special secret language that she's teaching me, too.

Here are Uncle Berhan, Auntie Karen, and Karynna. Uncle Berhan and Dada behave like silly brothers, but they look nothing alike, so I'm really confused here.

This is Auntie Peggy. There was no accompanying Uncle, but they kept talking about someone named Nate.

Boy this is all very confusing. I need a cheat sheet or something!

My Big Brother

So, it's true.. I'm a little brother. I'm slowly learning what that means, but so far it seems pretty nice. See for yourself!

Am I Scary?

Sometimes I wonder if I scare folks who don't yet have babies. What do you think?

Auntie Amy looks a little apprehensive.

Uncle Erick was hanging out with my brother...

...but spent some time holding me, too.

And Uncle Ben needed lessons on how to hold me.

I hope I'm not too scary! Maybe I'm just a little too boring at this young age. Well, I like hanging out with you old guys in any case!

My First Week

I haven't been doing very much this week. I spend most of my time sleeping and eating. I usually cry if Mommy doesn't get me food fast enough, or if I'm getting my diapers changed. Here are pictures of my visitors and other events during my first week of life.

Here I am, 3 hours before my birth, trying to get out.

Meanwhile, my brother was having a great time with the Lee sisters. (Photo by Karolyn Cheng.)

This is me, minutes after birth, obviously not so happy!

I was much happier once they stopped prodding and poking and tagging and all that stuff and wrapped me up nice and tight and let daddy hold me.

The Lees brought my big brother Jaden to come meet me for the first time.

Lots of aunties and uncles and some little friends came to visit too, but for some reason, mommy and daddy forgot to take pictures! If you have some, please send them to my silly parents. Thanks!

Life After Three Days at Home

I've been home for three days now and so far it's been great. Nana and Papa were here for a couple of days, now Uncle Bob, and soon Lao Lao and Uncle Mike, Auntie Hye-Jin, and cousin Caleb will visit, too. Serena, Uncle Chris, Auntie Emily, and Zachary have stopped by, too. Life is good. I sleep in my upstairs crib, my downstairs crib, or my parents king size bed (my favorite). My big brother helped Mama give me a bath last night for the first time and he even helps change my stinky diapers sometimes. I'll post some more pictures soon, but I need help from my parents with that and they're still so busy around the house. TTFN.
